By Jeppe Melchior Mikkelsen | Jan 02 2018 | Business | Insights | Blogs

2017 has come to an end and a new year has begun. Exactly like last year, we'll be providing you with business cases and insights on how to optimise your ePaper. We've picked out a handful of "must-reads" from the past year that will get your 2018 off to a great start.

In 2017, we released two benchmark reports with valuable knowledge about European ePaper readers and new tendencies. One was based on a comprehensive user survey, while the other was compiled on our Google Analytics data from 415 titles across seven European countries. Together they'll give you an accurate picture of the average ePaper reader. Retrieve them by following the links below:

The Year of Tracking
If we were to put a label on the past year, it would probably be "Tracking". We've experienced an increased focus on data tracking from our customers, and our Business Consulting team have been busy helping them and providing them with valuable tips for working with data.

For example, did you get the white paper about seven key metrics you need to track?

The past year, we introduced User ID tracking on our solutions. This feature gives you a far better understanding of your readers that helps you prevent churn.

In the white paper, "How to build a Churn Prediction Model" we exemplified how you can benefit from User ID tracking and use it to predict potential churns.

Increase the ePaper ROI
We continuously post blogs with recommondations and business insights on how to increase ePaper ROI. Advertising, naturally, plays a huge role in this, and if you haven't already seen them, make sure you check out the two blog posts about
Interstitials and Clickable Ads.

But there are other ways to strenghten your ePaper than selling ads. Getting new subscribers is ultimately what it's all about and to help you do this, we've suggested four ways you can improve your ePaper.

2017 was also the year we went on our "Inspirational Tour" travelling to Denmark, Sweden and Germany. We received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants, and for this reason we'll be repeating the tour in 2018. Already in late March we'll be visiting Norway. Stay tuned for more information.

Never miss out!
The ePaper has evolved immensely throughout the last decade and we don't expect 2018 to be any different. Digital distribution is a platform with loads of possibilities to increase ROI. And if you want all the tips and tricks, make sure to subscribe to our newsletter.
