Facebook advertising. Inbound marketing campaigns as a tool to generate subscribers. Datadriven optimisation of ePaper performance. The room was positively buzzing with knowledge sharing and experiences from German, Dutch and Danish publishers.

The purpose of the Visiolink Inspirational Tour 2017 is to facilitate a forum for publishers to network, share knowledge and get inspiration to help maximise their ePaper ROI. And according to the participants at the first event in Denmark, that's exactly what they experienced.

What are the others doing?

The chance to hear what goes on in other media houses was one of the greatest attractions for the participants, who came from as far as Holland and Norway and made it an international event with a great mix of representatives from both large and smaller titles.

Troels Behrendt Jørgensen, Digital Director at the Danish newspaper Politiken, shared details about their digital strategy and how they've successfully increased the price on their digital products.

Jacob Schmidt, Chief Customer Officer at Danish media house Nordjyske Medier, revealed how they gain subscribers through inbound marketing campaigns.

Svenja Degner, Project Manager of Digital Publishing at German media house mh:n, showed how their digital platforms within a year will be developed to suit their own and their readers' future needs.

There was, in other words, no shortage on inspiration. From Visiolink the participants got insights about their data tracking and advetising possibilities, and Product Manager Mathias Winther Klausen presented the latests products - iOS News Modules and Mobile Edition - which are Visiolink's take on future ePaper platforms.

Next stop: Stockholm September 26

When all participants at an event give the feedback that they'd absolutely recommend others to join, you can't hope for more as a conference organizer.

After this first great success we're even more excited about the coming event in Stockholm.

Here the participants get the chance to meet Johan Möller, Head of Business Solutions at Svenska Dagbladet (SvD), Christian Stavik, Digital Director at Danish newspaper Berlingske and, finally, Stig Breyholz, Head of Analytics at Schibsted Norway that runs some of the strongest newspaper brands in Europe such as Aftenposten and VG.
